Royal decree obliging foreigners to contribute to the Bruges Portuguese Stock Exchange

King Dom Afonso V, by decree of 23^rd February 1459, determined that all foreigners who carried their ships in our country should pay to the Stock Exchange in Bruges what was established. The non-compliance implied sanctions to the portuguese notaries as well as to the masters and owners of the vessels.
