Description

Obverse: In the field, in shades of blue and white, the symbol of Companhia de Seguros Ourique: a medieval knight (D. Afonso Henriques), riding to the right, holding a shield in his left hand and raising a sword with his right hand. On the edge, at the top, the legend "COMPANHIA | OURIQUE | DE | SEGUROS", with the words separated by full stops and at the bottom, separated from the top by two crosses of the Order of Christ, the inscription "PORTUGAL". Reverse: Mention of the manufacturer Vista Alegre Portugal and the 10th Meeting | Workers of Companhia de Seguros Ourique | 2 July 2005. Below is a dedication from the President of the Portuguese Republic, Dr Jorge Sampaio, to the President of the AXA Staff Club: "To Pinto Mendes with a hug from Jorge Sampaio".
