Couto (sculptor) Production: Gravarte Circular-shaped medal with embossed decoration. OBVERSE: In the field, in the center, inside a rectangle, the symbol of the Insurance Company Asssicurazioni Generali: winged lion of St. Mark, facing to the left side, sustaining the Gospel of St. Mark on his right front paw. On top of the symbol the inscription "60 YEARS" and below the symbol, the caption "1942-2002". On the edge, at the top, the caption "ASSICURAZIONI GENERALI" and, at the bottom the legend: "PORTUGAL".REVERSE: The various elements that make up the Portuguese shield: the five corners in the center, arranged in semicircle, surrounded peripherally by the seven castles and at the bottom, a stylized floral motif.
