Description

Show program organized by F.N.A.T. dedicated to C.A.T. (Center for Joy at Work) of A Mundial, at Liceu Camões in 1953. This show for workers (no. 608) was scheduled for Saturday, December 19, 1953, from 9:45 pm to 11:30 pm. The Light Orchestra, directed by Tavares Bello, the typical Portuguese Orchestra directed by Belo Marques, the singer José António, the singer Gina Esteves and Fernando Quejas and the vocal ensemble Três Marias, the Female choir, collaborated the male vocal sextet, the singers Maria de Lourdes, Rui Mascarenhas and Maria Euridice. Locution by Arthur Augustine. On the cover of jorge rosa's drawing program. On the back cover the inscription of A Mundial by extensive and by symbol referring to the address Largo do Chiado, 8, in Lisbon. This 4-page printout was printed in the typography of The Worldwide Insurance Company in December 1953.

The National Foundation for Joy at Work (FNAT) was created on June 13, 1935, to create the infrastructure for the cultural, sports and recreational activities of workers and their families, with a view to "greater physical and moral development". The beneficiaries of FNAT were necessarily members of one of the elements of the embotivist organization of labor: a National Union, a sports group, and the Centers of Joy at Work (CATs) constituted the basic structures in the companies.
