The Old Automobile and the Insurance Activity

“Study the past if you want to decipher the future”

What does an old car, a car insurance policy, a premium receipt, and an insurance company nameplate have in common to put on the front of the vehicle?

In 2011, the CHAPAS Club team prepared and made known material and immaterial memories on the theme “The Old Car and the Insurance Activity”.

The purpose of this exhibition was to recall the evolution of processes and means of the automobile industry, insurance companies and their professionals in the middle of the 20th century.

It was time to dignify a short period of over 700 years of insurance history in Portugal.

The opening of the exhibition was attended by insurance professionals and other guests. The Ministry of Education Choir led by conductor Victor Roque Amaro participated in the event.
