Description
Year 1930. First-aid post of A Mundial, Insurance Company, in Coimbra. In the building, which has only two floors, ground floor and first floor, there is a large panel painted in black and gold with the emblem of A Mundial, the inscription of the name of the insurance company and the mention of Posto de Soccorros. On the upper floor of the building and at the entrance doorway you can see advertising signs, identifying the name of the general practitioner Guilherme D’Albuquerque, with the entrance informing the time from 14 to 16 pm. The hardware, paint and metal trade of Gonçalves Martins & C.ª Lda occupying the ground floor of the building is a characteristic of the time, which probably worked as an insurance agent.
