Medal, circular in shape, with relief decoration, commemorating the 1st National Congress of Insurance Brokers and Professional Agents in Póvoa de Varzim. OBVERSE: In the field, in the centre, the symbol of Aprose (Portuguese Association of Insurance Professional Producers): inside a rectangle the representation of the detail of the interconnection point of two links of a chain, with the inscription “APROSE” below. Surrounding the edge, the legend “ASSOCIAÇÃO PORTUGUESA DOS PRODUTORES PROFISSIONAIS DE SEGUROS” (PORTUGUESE ASSOCIATION OF PROFESSIONAL INSURANCE PRODUCERS), which begins on the left side below and whose ends are separated by a dash. REVERSE: In the field, in the lower half, the legend “1st NATIONAL CONGRESS” (the letter “C” of the word Congress is replaced by the APROSE symbol), with the legend “CORRECTORS AND/OR PROFESSIONAL INSURANCE AGENTS” in three horizontal lines, on the left side. Below, the place where the Congress was held: “PÓVOA DE VARZIM”. At the bottom, the legend “24 AND 25 MAY 1991”.
