The military garment symbolises his life as a Portuguese nobleman, commander and military genius in the wars against Castile (Spain) for Portugal’s independence. At his feet the reference to Nun’ Alvares / O Libertador do Alentejo. On the dark green background, at the top the inscription O Alentejo and on the opposite side the inscription Cª de Seguros. In the lower left corner the indication where it was produced: Lit Internacional – Lisboa. It has four holes for fixation.
