Description

Short-necked baluster pot with dome-shaped lid and blue rounded, pointed button handle. Made of glazed white porcelain with blue print decoration. The decoration of the central part of the bowl is composed of the symbol of the Companhia de Seguros Fidelidade symbol: a lying dog, with its front legs crossed, turned to the left side. Below the figure, at the bottom of the bowl, the inscription: “Casa do Pessoal / da / Companhia de Seguros Fidelidade”. Blue fillet around the lap. Polychrome piece: white and blue. Mark at the bottom of the base in green muffle, by decal, and by big fire, by stamp: “Vista Alegre / 1924 VA 1984 / Portugal”.
