Medal in circular format, with relief decoration, representative of the I National Congress of Insurance, 1971. OBVERSE: In the countryside, inside an ornamented fence, the symbol of the Insurance Guild: on the cross of the order of Christ, a stylized eagle, sole, with open wings, with its head turned to the left and holding a chain in its claws. On the edge, at the top, the legend: “LISBOA, 25 A 29 DE OUTUBRO DE 1971” and, at the bottom, the legend “GREMIO DOS SEGURADORES”. REVERSE: In the field, the allegory of the Congress. On the border, at the top, the legend: “I Congresso Nacional de Seguros” and, at the bottom, the inscription “1971”.
