Description

Large wooden pencils, hexagonal, painted on the outside in white and with blue or red tops, depending on the charcoal writing tones. In the extension of the pencils the mention, in dark blue letters, of the Companhia de Seguros Ultramarina, address of the headquarters and the image of a vessel.

The oldest employees say that, at the beginning of the second half of the 20th century when they joined the insurance companies, for the production sections of the various branches, they were entitled to a copy of each blue and red charcoal pencil, which were replaced when presented completely worn.
